Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as repairing plumbing systems, electrical systems, and HVAC systems.
- Conduct inspections of facilities and equipment to identify and resolve issues.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner and prioritize tasks based on urgency.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of the facility.
- Fabricate and install various components using welding and other fabrication techniques.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment, including motors, pumps, and conveyors.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, circuit breakers, and logic controllers.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think logically and analytically.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Welding experience is a plus.
